Terms of Service

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Plain-English terms for using Convexy. Reading the whole thing takes about two minutes.

1. The deal

Convexy is sold on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Once you complete the one-time in-app purchase, the app is yours to use on every device signed into the same Apple ID or Google account, including those of family members in your Family Sharing or Family Library group, in accordance with each store's standard end-user license. The license is non-transferable.

2. The free trial

Convexy starts with a 14-day free trial that begins automatically the first time you open the app. The trial gives you the full feature set. After 14 days, conversions are gated behind the one-time purchase; built-in tools (PDF merge / split, QR code generator, ZIP utility) remain free forever.

3. What we promise

We will ship updates and bug fixes for as long as Convexy is sold on its respective stores. We aim to support recent versions of iOS (17 and later) and Android (10 and later), but we make no warranty that any specific future OS release will be supported. If we ever stop selling Convexy, we will publish one final update so your local copy keeps working without depending on any of our infrastructure.

4. What you agree not to do

5. Your files stay on your device

Convexy performs every conversion locally using your operating system's built-in frameworks. Your files are never uploaded to us or anyone else. There is no Convexy server, no Convexy account, and no telemetry tied to your file content. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

6. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. To request a refund:

We will honor any refund Apple or Google grants.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Convexy is provided "as is." We've tested it carefully and use it ourselves every day, but software has bugs. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability for any claim related to the app is the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the "Last updated" date at the top changes. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
